Summer’s new arrivals

We are excited to report that rising sophomore Ashley Sapp joined the lab in May as a SMART Fellow, and postdoc Amanda Elton joined us on July 1.

New cablab chapter available

Grad student Theresa McKim & cab coauthored a chapter in the new book “The Wiley Handbook on the Cognitive Neuroscience of Addiction.” The full book is available  here. A pdf version of our chapter “Addiction as Maladaptive Learning, with a Focus on Habit Learning” is also available by request.

Seniors fledging the nest!

Longtime cablab undergrad researchers, Nicole Seider and Michael Parrish, have each accepted offers to join doctoral programs in the Fall. Nicole will join the Wash. U. Neuroscience program in St. Louis, and Michael will join the social cognitive neuroscience lab in the UCLA Dept. of Psychology. Huge congratulations to both!
